Sublative Skin Resurfacing
Smooth Out the Lines of Time with a Sublative Rejuvenation Treatment.
Sublative technology enables you to achieve a more youthful appearance. Sublative effectively treats mild to moderate wrinkles and textural irregularities on the skin.
What Does the Sublative Laser Treat?
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Texture of the skin
- Acne Scaring
Sublative Rejuvenation is the only technology proven to reduce moderate to severe acne scars for all skin types. The Sublative™ RF applicator is designed to deliver Radio Frequency energy to the skin in a fractional manner, via an array of multi-electrode pins. The array delivers bipolar RF energy to the skin. Microscopic zones of epidermis and dermis are thermally ablated in a grid over the skin surface, where non-ablated zones serve as a reservoir of cells that promote rapid healing.
How Does Sublative Rejuvenation Work?
During your treatment, Bipolar Radio Frequency energy is delivered precisely into the skin in tiny matrix spots. The energy waves can go directly into the dermal layer with minimal disruption of the epidermis, therefore reducing the redness and irritation associated with the treatment. The non-treated skin around the treated spots accelerates the healing process, and downtime is minimal. The energy stimulates collagen production and allows skin rejuvenation to be achieved. The degree of heating and ablation can be adjusted according to each patient’s needs.
Is Sublative Right for me?
Sublative Rejuvenation is a safe and effective solution for most skin types. The procedure provides minimal downtime compared to other ablative and non-ablative fractional laser treatments, so most patients can quickly resume their daily activities.
When Can I expect to See Results?
Typically, at least 3 treatment sessions are recommended, 4-6 weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on your skin's condition. Our medical estheticians will assess your skin and customize a treatment plan with you to achieve your desired results.
What Does the Sublative Laser Feel Like?
During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as energy enters the skin. After treatment a pink or red "sunburn" appearance is also common with some slight grid marks on the skins surface. A topical numbing agent is used to reduce any unpleasant feelings during treatment.
